Who we are

Future Proof Intelligence is an institutional-facing operating layer, currently an initiative of Daniel van Griensven, operating from the Netherlands. Formal entity incorporation is in progress. For every question that follows, the person you are reaching is Daniel, directly.

What we collect

Three small categories, named honestly.

Information you send us

When you use the conversation form on this site, you send us your email address and a short message. That is the totality of what leaves your end.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-first analytics tool we self-host. It does not set cookies, does not track you across sites, does not identify you, and does not build a profile. What we see is aggregate: how many people visited a page, which pages resonate, how long a visit lasted. No individual trail exists.

Server and infrastructure logs

The servers that host this site (Vercel) keep short-lived logs of requests, including IP address, for security and availability. These are typical of any website and are kept for a short window.

Why we collect it

Your message reaches us because you chose to send it, and we need it to reply. Analytics tell us which writing lands and which does not, so we can improve the site. Logs protect the infrastructure from abuse. Nothing is sold. Nothing is shared with advertising networks. Nothing is used to train a model.

The legal basis

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) for responding to conversations you initiate and for keeping the site online and protected.
• Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) is implied when you choose to send us a message.

How long we keep it

• Conversation messages: for as long as the relationship is live, and up to three years after for standard business record purposes, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Analytics: aggregated, indefinitely. No individual trail is stored, so nothing identifies you.
• Server logs: thirty days, then automatic rotation.

Who sees it

Only Daniel, and the small set of infrastructure providers that technically enable the site:

• Vercel — website hosting, serverless functions for the conversation form.
• Make.com — routing the conversation form submission to Daniel's inbox.
• Umami — self-hosted analytics, no third-party data sharing.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertising networks. We do not feed it into AI training pipelines.

Your rights under GDPR

You can at any time:

• Ask what information we hold about you (right of access).
• Correct anything that is wrong (right to rectification).
• Ask us to delete it (right to erasure).
• Object to how it is being used, or restrict that use.
• Receive your data in a portable format.

Email daniel@futureproofintelligence.com for any of these. We respond within a month. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

International transfers

Some of our infrastructure providers are based outside the EU (Vercel and Umami's hosting). They operate under GDPR-appropriate transfer mechanisms (standard contractual clauses). If you want the full picture, ask.

Cookies

We do not set tracking cookies. Our analytics tool is cookie-free by design. If you interact with the conversation form, a short-lived session token may be used to confirm the submission; it expires within the hour. That is the full extent of cookies on this site.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the practice changes. The last-updated date at the top will always reflect the current version. Substantive changes will be announced in any ongoing conversation we have with you.
